Still hummmmming?

Still humming from last week? (Mmmmmm) Or singing praise to the deliciousness of the food in your belly from time spent with family around a table? (Yummmmmm) Practicing yoga? (Ommmm) Breathwork? (Haaaaam), or sexual health? (Ahhhhhhhhh)

If you did for 6+ loooooooooooooooong seconds, may you have toned your vagus nerve into:

- promoting mental relaxation and lightness in the body

- improved immune system

- decreased stress and cortisol levels

- improved digestion/nutrient absorbsion

- maybe even a moment of bliss??:)

Maybe this email found you in time to prep you for your sleep higene habits tonight! Now that you are more relaxed…ahhhh….encourage restfulness or sleep….you can gargle water/mouthwash, or use your toothbrush to tickle the back of your tongue to stimulate the vagal relaxation….or once you are snug-as-bug-in-a-rug:

  1. Lie on your back,

  2. Place your left hand over your heart and right hand over the lower right quadrant of your abdomen/gut,

  3. Without turning your head, look high to the right.

  4. Remain here until you spontaneously yawn or swallow;

  5. Return to the neutral state with head and eyes straight

  6. Repeat on the left side.

All 3 techniques of stimulating swallowing have implications as a reflex reaction to down regulate the cardiovascular system = lowering heart rate and blood pressure. Sounds pretty ideal, wouldn’t you say, eh?🇨🇦

Sleep tight!

And if this helped, email me a yes! We can tune an instrument...although you cannot tuna-fish!! (Glad I got to tell this joke twice!!) Hahahaaaaaaaaaaa

However we can tune our bodies!!!
